Best choice of computer gaming nerds. Buying a pre built PC like this is way better than building customized. It does what it needs to do. The purpose is to play high end games like fortnite/ league of legends smoothly and fan noise should be negligible. Its fan isn&#;t loud, it has really nice lights and clean edges on the computer. Looking at it is just pleasing to the eye. Cyberpower and iBuybpower users would get this machine way better. Price is fair as well. If you want something to start out, it would be totally recommended!!!

The Trident shows off its performance and brings 4K games smoothly to the display. But also thanks to its slim housing with elegant lighting, it hits the gambler nerve. For this, the hardware has to cuddle tightly. Space for upgrading is scarce and the cooling system is noisy. Gamers with a headset don&#;t mind that much, but for the proud price, buyers can expect more peace of mind and a larger SSD.

If there is anything to complain about, it is the high level of noise pollution under full load. Otherwise, the MSI was convincing across the board: with the exception of the missing card reader, the equipment leaves nothing to be desired, the game speed is very high and the speed reserves are still sufficient for future games. But gamers can also expect that from a gaming PC that is damn expensive at best gaming pc for dollars

Amazing: Despite its compact dimensions, the Corsair One i40 is one of the fastest gaming PCs that COMPUTER BILD has ever tested &#; but with a retail price of 3, USD, it is also one of the most expensive. Can&#;t say enough about this machine. If  to give a bad mark it would only be that the power button too small in my opinion. The plus frame rates in COD MW are consistent with graphics set to ultra! Recommend this machine for anyone&#;s gaming needs. One of the guy was due to build a new gaming rig, and this was comparable to what he intended to build at a similar price. He expected heating issues with the included liquid cooling system, so he bought the Corsair H60 in preparation. He also bought a wheeling floor stand for a desktop that is ventilated on the bottom because this machine vents heat from the bottom of the case. So far, idling at 29 Celsius and under load it doesn&#;t go above ~54 Celsius, even with the stock liquid cooling unit, so he might forgo installing the Corsair for the time being.

Buy A Gaming PC in Following components, specs must be there!

In the price range up to 1, USD or to have best gaming desktop for dollars, the following components should be on board:

  • Processor:An Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 processor is the minimum. But stronger upper-class CPUs such as AMD&#;s Ryzen 7 or Intel&#;s Core i7 are also available in 1,USD gaming PCs.
  • RAM: The processor should be supported by at least 8 gigabytes of high-speed DDR4 memory, better 16 gigabytes. You can find buying tips in the article &#; Buying DDR4 RAM: These are the most popular products &#;.
  • Graphics card: Even more important than the processor and memory is the graphics card . After all, she does most of the calculations for figures, objects, and environments. The computer should therefore have at least one image maker with Nvidia&#;s graphics chip GTX  , better still a model with GTX &#; or GTX chip. If money does not matter, it can also be an AMD Radeon VII or a model from Nvidia&#;s current &#;Turing series&#; &#; such as an RTX  , RTX  or RTX Ti .
  • SSD and hard drive: A fast SSD is also required &#; if possible in M.2 plug-in card format , with a fast PCI Express connection and gigabytes of memory. Since this memory is often insufficient and SSDs with more capacity are expensive, a hard drive with at least gigabytes of memory has to be in the PC.
  • WLAN: Since the router is often located exactly where the computer cannot find space, WLAN is recommended for online play. But that has to be fast and therefore needs the brisk ac standard.

Gaming PC test: does it have to be the most expensive PC?

The test showed: Even if money doesn&#;t matter, it doesn&#;t always have to be the most expensive gaming PC! In this comparison, the One Ultra IR01 took the lead. For 2, USD, it offers enough power &#; thanks to the AMD Radeon VII graphics card and Core i7 processor, it is extremely fast and can keep up with much more expensive competitors.

Shadow Ghost: Streaming service and gaming PC tested

Playing current top games on lame boxes &#; that&#;s what the streaming service Shadow promises. Fast internet should be enough. But can that be true? DFICLUB has checked it. Also in the test: the Shadow Ghost PC.

For a passing decent gaming PC are often more mature than 2, USD. But not everyone wants to spend them. An alternative: cloud gaming from the manufacturer Blade. DFICLUB has put the Shadow service and the separately available streaming box Shadow Ghost to the test.

Shadow in the test: Rent instead of buy

Cloud gaming sounds abstract, but the principle of Blade is very simple: customers rent a potent Windows 10 PC in the cloud, the content of which is then streamed into their living room or study. So should be possible to play current games at home even with elderly PCs. Users only have to install a small program, the so-called client, on their computer. The whole thing is cheaper than a brand new gaming PC, but it also has its price: Depending on the hardware and runtime booked, the service costs between USD and USD You can find the exact price at Amazon.

Shadow in the Test: That&#;s in it

At the time of the test, the cloud computers were equipped with an Intel Xeon processor, the eight cores of which operate at gigahertz. Shortcoming: Both the SSD ( gigabytes) and the RAM (12 gigabytes) are a bit tight for demanding gamers. The speed of the SSD was also rather average in the test. The image is calculated by Nvidia&#;s professional graphics card Quadro P , which delivered frames per second in the test in demanding games &#; a little less than the current gaming model Geforce RTX Super (about USD).

Shadow in the test: thick internet lines

The shadow computers are connected to thick internet lines for fast data transfer: the service receives data at megabits per second, and transmits at megabits per second. However, the test under ideal conditions showed that Blade does not always reach the maximum speed. Positive: The provider promises to always keep the hardware up to date &#; without any extra costs.

Shadow Ghost in the test: Connective spirit

Blade offers the Shadow Ghost for gamers without a PC for USD. The small streaming box (18x12x5 centimeters) delivers a 4K signal via HDMI directly to a monitor or television . The box has WLAN, four USB ports (for mouse, keyboard and gamepad, for example), an audio jack and a network connection.

Balde and Shadow Ghost PC in the test © COMPUTER BILD

On the back of the Shadow PC there is a network connection (1) , two USB sockets (2) , two USB connections (3) , an HDMI socket (4) , a headset connection (5) and the power supply socket (6) .

Shadow Ghost in the test: small blemishes

Both the client and the box are very easy to set up. But if you want to start playing right away, you will be disappointed! Because the activation of the service can take two to four weeks. To avoid frustration, gamers should check their internet connection before subscribing. Blade recommends a bandwidth of at least 15 megabits per second (Mbit / s). The test confirmed that a fast line is recommended, otherwise the picture sporadically stutters. Some stutters and artifacts even occurred on a line with Mbit / s. This is particularly annoying for multiplayer shooters like PUBG, Another disadvantage: If there is maintenance or breakdowns in the Amsterdam data center, there is no game night in it &#; during the test period of several months, there were an average of three breaks per month.

Shadow Ghost PC: Test conclusion

If you count on every frame while gaming and don&#;t tolerate any delays, you should stay with your classic gaming PC. Nevertheless: COMPUTER BILD was pleasantly surprised at how properly the service works! It&#;s just a shame that the price is pretty steep.

Best Gaming PCs

When you're in the market for a gaming PC, there's a lot to consider: power, size, components and what resolution you want to play at. (If you're looking for portability, check out the best gaming laptops.)

If all you need is to play a few AAA titles at p, you won't need the absolute best GPU and/or best CPUs for gaming on the market.

But if you want to play at x or 4K, then you need to start thinking about saving more for your rig. CPU horsepower is also tied to gaming acumen, but branching out into anything over a quad-core processor will primarily see performance gains in multi-threaded workloads such as video processing, rendering and encoding, not games.

Choosing the Best Gaming PC

Gaming PC Configuration Tip

Most pre-built gaming PCs, including those on our list of the best, come in multiple configurations. While we list the ones we reviewed, others may be better for you.

Nvidia recently announced its RTX , RTX , and RTX graphics cards, but it's hard to get your hands on them. Even the few prebuilt gaming PCs that have been announced with those GPUs have been in and out of stock. Some of our Nvidia-based picks still have the last-gen cards, but note that new ones will be available soon if you can afford to wait.

We may eventually see Nvidia introduce new budget graphics cards in  GeForce RTX and RTX Ti. There's been no official announcement in this regard, but it may trigger a refresh of lower-end and mid-tier PCs if it happens. Based on the performance of the mobile parts, we would expect them to be RTX replacements for the GTX Super and GTX Super.

We've seen a desktop with AMD's latest, Alienware R10 with an RX XT and Ryzen 7 X, and we expect more of those to come soon. It's definitely a time of flux in this space. Nvidia has fired back with the Nvidia GeForce RTX Ti and RTX Ti. On the CPU side, Intel recently released its Rocket Lake Core iK with 19% IPC increase. We're expecting to hear more about Intel's Alder Lake chips soon, too, which could hake things up.

Storage and memory capacity are also prime considerations that can push the price of a prebuilt gaming PC high rather quickly. Solid-state storage devices (SSDs) offer huge strides in performance and load times in games, especially when compared to older hard disk drives (HDDs) with mechanical parts, but they also cost more money for less storage capacity. If you’re a gamer, having a moderate-sized SSD as a primary partition (GB or so) with a sizable HDD (two or more terabytes) is a good place to start.

Power is also an important factor when choosing a prebuilt gaming PC. Does the PSU offer enough juice to cover the hardware inside? (In most cases, the answer is yes, but there are some exceptions, particularly if you intend to overclock.) Additionally, note if the PSU will offer enough power for future upgrades to GPUs and other components. Case size and expansion options vary drastically between our picks.

Aesthetic value and form factor should also be considered when buying. If you want your case to shine as bright as the sun or to fit in your living room entertainment center, there are options out there for either scenario--or both. Most boutique PC builders offer overclocking services to get the most possible performance out of your hardware, and if you aren't versed in the art of overclocking these services are extremely helpful.

For most people though, budget plays the biggest role in a desktop buying decision. You can sometimes find good deals on big-box desktops when they go on sale, but you’ll be stuck with the components chosen by the likes of HP, Lenovo or Dell. The beauty of a custom-built PC is that you can adjust the component configuration until it suits your needs and budget. We are happy, though, to see more builds coming with standardized parts than ever before, so you can upgrade them later on.

The picks on this list should be ready to run Windows 11 in the fall, should you be looking to upgrade from a system with an older, unsupported processor.

Best Gaming PCs You Can Buy Today

1. MSI Aegis RS 11th Gen

The Best Mainstream Gaming PC

CPU: Intel Core iK

GPU: MSI GeForce RTX Ventus 3X OC

RAM: 16GB Crucial Ballistix DDR

Storage: 1TB XPG Gammix S70 PCIe Gen 4, 2TB Seagate Barracuda (7, RPM)

Reasons to buy

+Off the shelf parts+Powerful gaming performance+Decent pack-in peripherals

Reasons to avoid

-MSI Center software is clunky-Middling file transfer speeds

The MSI Aegis RS 11th is a top-of-the line pre-built gaming desktop. The 11th Gen Intel Core CPU and options for an RTX bring awesome gaming performance in a design that you can upgrade yourself down the line.

All of the parts are standardized, including the case. In fact, MSI makes the case, motherboard, CPU cooler, fans, GPU and power supply. This is the type of pre-built that you can upgrade, tinker with and make your own over the next several years.

If you don't have a keyboard and mouse, the peripherals that MSI includes are decent enough to get started, though you'll likely want to bump up the keyboard to something with mechanical switches eventually.

2. Alienware Aurora R11

A Powerhouse PC With an RTX

CPU: Intel Core iK

GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX

RAM: 64GB HyperX Fury DDRMHz

Storage: 2 TB M.2 NVMe SSD and 2 TB, 7,rpm HDD

Reasons to buy

+Fairly compact design+Strong gaming performance with 10th Gen Core i9 and RTX +Little bloatware

Reasons to avoid

-Loud and needs better cooling-Very expensive

The Alienware Aurora R11 muscled its way onto our list with its sheer GPU power. Right now, it's really hard to find one of Nvidia's Ampere GPUs, but as of this writing Alienware is shipping with both RTX and RTX , so that's one way to go.

The design is futuristic, and while it may be divisive to some, you can't argue that it's fairly compact. The RTX , compared with the Intel Core iK in our review unit, offered some top-notch gaming performance. It uses largely standardized parts and has plenty of room for extra drives.

The biggest downside is that the machine gets loud with few case fans. It's also expensive, but it's a maxxed out machine, not just the graphics card.

The Alienware Aurora R11 has been supplanted by the Alienware Aurora R We haven't tested it yet, but if you're looking for the newest, you may want to try these configurations:

3. iBuypower Revolt 3 i7BG

The Best Small Form Factor Gaming PC (for Most People)

CPU: Intel Core iKF

GPU: Aorus GeForce RTX Gaming OC 10G (10GB GDDR6X)

RAM: 16GB T-Force DDR

Storage: Western Digital SN 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD

Reasons to buy

+Attractive, understated case+Includes a handle and two headset hangers+Great performance

Reasons to avoid

-Limited space for upgrades-Bottom-mounted IO complicates peripheral swaps

No intense lighting, no glass windows, just a small tower packed with gaming power. The iBuypower Revolt 3 has steel panels, black mesh and a largely subtle design. It's clever, though, with two headset hangers and a built-in handle to carry it to your next LAN party.

At $2, as tested with an Intel Core iKF and an RTX , it's not listed at a crazy price considering today's component shortage. And those components offer excellent performance in this tiny chassis.

Small form factor PCs can bring some oddities. This one has the motherboard I/O on the bottom of the case, so you have to lift it up to plug in or remove peripherals. Additionally, there is limited room in this case for when you want to make upgrades.

We also happen to like this case this system comes in on its own, if you're looking to build your own PC.

4. Corsair One a

The Best premium Small Form Factor Gaming PC

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 X

GPU: Liquid-cooled Nvidia GeForce RTX (10GB GDDR6X)

RAM: 32GB (2x16GB) Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR

Storage: 1TB M.2 NVMe, 2TB inch SATA HDD

Reasons to buy

+Top-end performance+Space-saving, quiet shell+Liquid-cooled CPU and GPU

Reasons to avoid

-Expensive-Limited upgrade options

The Corsair One a takes up minimal space on your desk, thanks to its tall, tower shape that crams in components. This desktop has an AMD Ryzen 9 X and Nvidia Geforce RTX , both of which are liquid cooled to offer top-end performance. It also came with 32GB of RAM, a 1TB M.2 SSD and a TB HDD for more games.

Despite the powerful parts, the computer is largely quiet thanks to an effective cooling system that draws in cool air through the sides to cool the components, and then expels hot air with a fan on the top. This can, however, make the system difficult to upgrade later, as everything is really packed into the liter chassis.

The downside to top-of-the-line components is the price. We tested the Corsair One a at $3,

There are two other versions, both of which are Intel-based. There's an 11th Gen Intel Core Core iK version for the same price on Corsair's website and a cheaper $3, version:

Corsair One i ($3,)
An alternate configuration with an Intel Core iK, 32GB DDR4 RAM, Nvidia GeForce RTX , 1TB M.2 PCIe NVME SSD and 2TB HDD.

5. Maingear Vybe

The Best Splurge Gaming PC

CPU: Intel Core iK

GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX Ti

Storage: 1 TB M.2 NVMe SSD and 4 TB, 7,rpm HDD

Reasons to buy

+Extremely quiet operation+Stunning aesthetics+Ample front-panel connectivity

Reasons to avoid

-Expensive as configured-Odd choice of boot drive

Do you strictly need to spend more than $5, on a gaming PC? No, but you can, and you’ll get a luxurious experience. The Maingear Vybe is a gorgeous desktop thanks to options for automotive paint and a minimalistic design. And with its Apex liquid cooling, it’s stunningly quiet.

That’s even when running an overclocked Intel Core iK at GHz. Between that chip and an RTX Ti, the system provides incredible gaming performance.

One big area you may want to configure differently is our review unit, which used a budget Intel P SSD, but you can make this thing to order, including AMD Ryzen options.

If you prefer something a bit smaller that's still a splurge, the Maingear Turbo has the same build quality, though you can only get it with Ryzen CPUs.

6. Dell G5

The Best Budget PC

CPU: Intel Core i

GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX (6GB GDDR5)

Storage: GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD

Reasons to buy

+Compact size+Lots of ports on the front+Affordable

Reasons to avoid

-Limited cooling solutions-Proprietary motherboard and server PSU

The Dell G5 is small for a mid-tower, and can play most games at mid or high settings at an affordable price. If you want to get into PC gaming and don’t care to focus on tinkering too much, it’s a good choice, though there are a ton of configuration options.

The G5 also has a lot of ports on the front and on the rear, making it easy to expand with peripherals and external storage. Inside, expansion options include extra room in hard drive cages and m.2 slots.

Dell G5 Updated Configuration

Dell G5 (Model: iBLK-PUS)

The Best Budget PC - Alternate Configuration

CPU: Intel Core iF

GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX Ti (6GB GDDR6)

Storage: 1TB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD

Reasons to buy

+Empty List

Reasons to avoid

-Empty List

It's been awhile since we reviewed the G5 desktop, though Dell is still using a similar chassis (albeit with optional RGB lighting now). Mid-tier users may want to opt for a current version with a 10th Gen Intel Core iF, Nvidia GeForce GTX Ti, 16GB of RAM, a GB M.2 SSD for $1, at Dell, or with an iF, GTX Ti, 16GB of RAM and 1TB SSD for $1, at Best Buy

7. HP Omen 30L

An attractive design with name-brand parts

CPU: Intel Core iK

GPU: Custom HP GeForce RTX (10GB GDDR6X)

RAM: 32GB HyperX DDR

Storage: 2TB WD Black M.2 NVMe, 2TB Seagate inch SATA HDD

Reasons to buy

+Improved, attractive design+Powerful-name brand components

Reasons to avoid

-Cooling could use improvement-Has a lot of bloatware

The HP Omen 30L is a big-box gaming PC that feels like one you build. The latest design adds more airflow with an intake fan, plus sleek glass front and side panels and still has an easy-access panel to get to the most critical components. Oh, and of course the new intake fan has some sleek RGB to go with the new logo and the rest of the system.

The version we tested, with a 10th Gen Intel Core i9 and an RTX proved powerful in our gaming benchmarks and productivity tests. We do wish that HP had a more powerful CPU cooler, as the single mm fan isn't always enough for the Intel Core i9.

The addition of name-brand parts is also nice to see. There's little, if anything, proprietary about the system, which includes a micro-ATX motherboard, WD Black SSD, Seagate HDD and a W power supply. That's the special sauce that makes it feel a bit more like an enthusiast machine than some alternatives.

If you can't find the model we tested, there are a variety of other options, including some with AMD processors:

Gaming PCs You Can Get During the Component Shortage

Right now, we're going through a global component shortage, which has made it difficult to buy the best CPUs for gaming, the best GPUs and really anything that goes in a gaming PC at all. In turn, people are turning to buy anything they can, including full-built gaming PCs, even if they only need a few parts. This is especially the case with Nvidia's RTX graphics cards.

We haven't been able to review all of these PCs, so shop with caution, but we're keeping an eye on the market so you can see what may be available since our last update.

How to Choose a Gaming PC

  • Bigger isn't always better: You don’t need a huge tower to get a system with high-end components. Only buy a big desktop tower if you like the look of it and want lots of room to install future upgrades.
  • Get an SSD if at all possible: This will make your computer far more faster than loading off of a traditional HDD, and has no moving parts. Look for at least a GB SSD boot drive, ideally paired with a larger hard drive for storage.
  • You can't lose with Intel or AMD: As long as you opt for a current-generation chip, both companies offer comparable overall performance. Intel’s CPUs tend to perform a bit better when running games at lower resolutions (p and below), while AMD’s Ryzen processors often handle tasks like video editing better, thanks to their extra cores and threads.
  • Don’t buy more RAM than you need: 8GB is OK in a pitch, but 16GB is ideal for most users. Serious game streamers and those doing high-end media creation working with large files will want more, but will have to pay a lot for options going as high as 64GB.
  • Don’t buy a multi-card gaming rig unless you have to. If you’re a serious gamer, get a system with the best-performing single graphics card you can afford. Many games don’t perform significantly better with two or more cards in Crossfire or SLI, and some perform worse, forcing you to disable an expensive piece of hardware to get the best experience possible. Because of these complications, you should only consider a multi-card desktop if you are after more performance than can be achieved with the best high-end consumer graphics card.
  • Ports matter. Beyond the connections necessary to plug in your monitor(s), you’ll want plenty of USB ports for plugging in other peripherals and external storage. Front-facing ports are very handy for flash drives, card readers, and other frequently used devices. For added future-proofing, look for a system with USB Gen 2 and USB-C ports.

What Laptop Best For High End Gaming Like CyberPunk ?

Here are top rated high end and strongest gaming laptops for demanding gamers.

Gaming laptops are a good alternative to classic gaming PCs. Because mobile graphics chips are almost on a par with their desktop counterparts in terms of performance, gaming laptops offer very high performance with a compact form factor. We have tested current models from manufacturers such as HP, Razer and Dell and give clear purchase recommendations for different budgets. In the text as well as in the video, we explain what you should pay attention to when buying a gaming notebook.

The evolution of gaming notebooks increasingly closes the gap to desktop PCs. Nvidia in particular has made a major contribution to this, because since the GPU manufacturer launched its Geforce series for laptops, the performance difference between mobile and desktop graphics chips is hardly worth mentioning, depending on the graphics chipset. The performance values are often (especially in the generation) at a comparable level to the desktop models, which makes the purchase of a gaming notebook highly attractive &#; provided that money does not matter.

With the Geforce series, Nvidia has now also launched its &#;RTX computing cores&#;, which massively accelerate real-time ray tracing, for mobile computers. Our comparison test of the top models show that a new generation does not always have to be significantly better than its predecessor .

The current leader of our leaderboard, equipped with an Intel Core i9 processor and the current RTX from Nvidia, offers outstanding performance and can also convince with the powerful dual display. A whopping 32 GB of RAM, the 2 Terabyte SSD and the low volume round off the almost perfect overall package. For this, prospective customers must also shell out a substantial sum. This is the one of the extreme gaming laptops for

The biggest specialty of the HP Omen X 2S is immediately apparent at first glance: the additional display above the keyboard. The inch second screen offers full HD resolution and is also multi-touch capable. This enables the display of additional information in games, for example a mini map or the inventory, but also the placement of frequently used tools for machining programs. The matte inch main display, on the other hand, has a 4K resolution and a refresh rate of 60 Hertz. In the test, it convinced with a good coverage of the standard RGB color space and the high brightness, which are contrasted by a slightly lower checkerboard contrast and the moderate coverage of the very large Adobe RGB color space. Overall, a good display, but other models can do a little more here.

In terms of performance, however, no one can fool the HP Omen X 2S. Equipped with an eight-core Intel Core iH with a clock rate of up to GHz and the Nvidia GeForce RTX Max-Q with a whopping eight GB of video memory, the notebook achieves excellent values in the benchmark and in practice. Current titles such as &#;Far Cry 5&#;, &#;GTA V&#; or &#;Total War: Warhammer II&#; break the 60fps mark even at the highest graphics settings. The lush 32 GB of RAM is also great, while the two one terabyte SSDs ensure extremely short loading times. In addition to gaming, the device is also ideally suited for demanding work.

Even under full load, the fans of the Omen X 2S are surprisingly quiet and, unlike the Razer Blade 15, do not attract attention when playing. The exterior can also impress with a very high quality workmanship and high ergonomics, whereby mobility suffers particularly from the poor battery life. With continuous video playback, the built-in battery only lasts for hours in the test, with excessive use it ends much earlier. Like many gaming laptops, the notebook is therefore particularly suitable for stationary use with a connected power supply. In addition to a connection for headsets, it also offers ports for three USB connections, USB-C with Thunderbolt 3, HDMI and a DisplayPort (via USB-C) and LAN.

  • Nvidia GeForce RTX
  • (6 GB VRAM)
  • 16 GB DDR4, 1 TB SSD
Strong Hertz display
Very good performance
Pleasant service
Strong price
Moderate battery life
1TB of memory a bit scarce

At a price of around 1, dollars, the Acer Predator Helios currently offers the best price-performance ratio of our gaming notebook best list. In view of its strong performance, the beautiful Hz display and the extensive equipment, you get a lot for your money. Most powerful gaming laptop reddit

The display of the Helios is one of the best on our leaderboard. On a diagonal of inches, it offers a resolution of 1, x 1, pixels (Full HD) as well as an extremely smooth refresh rate of Hertz. It achieves a very good checkerboard contrast of 1 and covers 93 percent of the sRGB color space. Again, the coverage of the Adobe color space is very low at 71 percent, but the viewing angle stability and good brightness are good.

The performance of the gaming notebook is also impressive. In addition to 16 GB of RAM and a 1 Terabyte SSD, a six-core Intel Core iH processor with up to GHz and an Nvidia GeForce RTX with 6 GB VRAM were installed in our test device. The Helios achieves good to very good results in the benchmark and also achieves some FPS in games with more complex graphics. &#;Far Cry 5&#; runs at about 84 fps, while &#;GTA V&#; even shines at fps. We would have expected a little more from the cooling-friendly casing, but there is basically nothing to complain about here. The notebook is well suited for more complex editing programs as well as gaming at a high level.

The housing has a high-quality finish and offers a well-lit and very ergonomic keyboard, a good mouse pad and numerous connections. These include about three USB ports, a USB-C port and a mini DisplayPort and HDMI. With a weight of kilograms, mobility is also okay, but the battery could be more durable with a video runtime of just under five hours. However, the notebook comes with a SATA installation kit, with which you can upgrade or replace the internal hard drive memory.

If the price of the Predator Helios is too high for you despite its fair price-performance ratio, we can recommend the Acer Nitro 7, which is also an extremely fair alternative in terms of price. Finally, good performance is also offered here for around $  less, even if a few compromises have to be made with the display. A high level of ergonomics and the relatively long battery life, however, please. One of the best new gaming laptops.

The display is really not the highlight of the Nitro 7. Although it offers inches of Full HD resolution at 60 Hertz, coverage of the sRGB color space, which is very low at 65 percent, is disappointing. However, the brightness is okay and the checkerboard contrast is also 1. Apart from the slightly pale color display, the display is quite unspectacular, but still ok considering the price.

It looks very different in terms of performance. The Intel Core iH with six cores and a clock speed of up to GHertz achieves decent benchmark results together with the GeForce GTX Ti and its six GB video memory and also displays more complex graphics smoothly. The 16 GB also contributes to this large RAM, a GB HDD and a 1TB HDD are used as main memory. The Nitro 5 usually breaks the 60fps mark in the test, but has to clearly subordinate to the two previous tips. The graphics card of the 10 series also does not have the characteristic ray tracing of the RTX models.

But the processing of the notebook is particularly appealing. With its high quality and a pleasantly ergonomic keyboard and the pointed touchpad, the device convinces all along the line. Mobility is also impressive in comparison to the previous tips, the video runtime of the battery is significantly longer at hours. The weight of kilograms also facilitates mobile use.

Best and cheapest gaming laptop

Mediocre equipment

If you have to transport your gaming notebook more often or like to use it on the go, you should pay particular attention to a compact design and low weight when buying. The Blade 15 from Razer shows that these design decisions often go hand in hand with compromises . Although it scores with a strong display and decent performance, the moderate ergonomics of the keyboard and the high volume of the fan do not appeal. Best 4K gaming laptop of

The inch display of the Blade 15 offers a Full HD resolution and a butter-soft refresh rate of Hertz. In the test, it convinced with 94 percent coverage of the sRGB color space, the high brightness and the good checkerboard contrast of 1. The display also offers a wide viewing angle, which is almost borderless thanks to the frame, which is only millimeters wide. A variant with 4K resolution, 60 Hertz and touch is also available for a higher price.

Like its predecessors, the Blade 15 cuts a good figure in terms of performance. An Intel Core iH with six cores and up to GHertz, an Nvidia GeForce GTX Max-Q with 8 GB VRAM and a 16 GB RAM are installed. With this combination, the notebook achieves good benchmark results and usually achieves over 60 frames per second even in modern games &#; for example, with “Far Cry 5” there are 78 fps with a high level of detail. This means that the Blade 15 is also suitable for more computing-intensive gaming as well as more complex editing programs, even if other problems occur under full load.

So in the test we were disturbed by the rather high volume of the fans, which despite the case heats up a lot. This is even noticeable when using the keyboard, the thin and compact design of the device has been implemented here at the expense of ventilation. The keyboard also only has a very short travel distance, which is particularly noticeable with the WASD control. At least the Blade 15 has three USB ports, a USB-C port with Thunderbolt 3, a mini DisplayPort and HDMI some interfaces, but the Internet is only available via WLAN. The battery also pleases with a video runtime of hours and the extremely low weight of kilograms make the notebook very mobile even outside of its thin architecture.High end top of the line gaming laptop for

Buyer&#;s Feedback

Okay so my last laptop was a Lenovo Thinkpad Edge 15&#;from I loved it and still use it. Haven&#;t upgraded to Windows 10 on it, loved Windows 7 Pro. But I had to take the leap &#; it was time. And after doing my due diligence, I selected the Lenovo Legion 5 Gaming Laptop. I do video editing and light gaming as well as other things with it, and so far it has exceeded all my expectations save one &#; battery life.
The battery life isn&#;t that good. Especially if running anything graphics or cpu intensive. Then you need to have a plug nearby. For just surfing the net and/or watching some videos, it&#;s adequate &#; around 4 hours. Gaming or other memory intensive activities can cut that time in half or more. And the battery doesn&#;t have an accessible panel. It is only accessible the same was as the RAM and disk drives &#; taking the bottom off the laptop. I haven&#;t looked into a better battery for the laptop yet, but if one exists, I&#;ll probably swap it out. It&#;s held in by a few screws and has the cable attachment to the board. So swapping it out shouldn&#;t be that difficult. If in doubt, videos are available on YouTube &#; highly recommend watching before attempting to take this laptop apart for upgrading.
The video card on it is top notch. And it came with both a GB ssd and a 1 TB HDD. I quickly upgraded the ram to max it out at 32 GB&#;s. Swapping out the RAM was quick &#; you have to take off the bottom panel (be careful with separating the sides with a guitar pick or spudger, it&#;s still plastic) and unfasten a metal plate that covers the RAM. Then swapping it out is as easy as any RAM swap in laptops.
You can tell quickly when the CPU or GPU is working hard, the duel fans crank up and go to work. I particularly like the venting of this unit, it has reinforced plastic around the vent holes. A recurring problem with my old Lenovo was thin plastic lattice by the fan vent breaking and causing the whole area to weaken which would lead to case failure at the hinges. Not with this laptop! Hinges are smartly placed and the whole area that includes the hinges appears reinforced.
Really nice to have true HD video, and the sound is great.
I did my research and selected this over Dell and ASUS because of a combination of factors involving the elements I wanted (higher RAM capacity &#; 32gb, good video card, capability of an SSD & an HDD, and price). Added bonus was the Ryzen 7 H CPU. That was the icing on the cake. Lenovo won out both in overall review satisfaction and having all the elements at the best price point. While I&#;ve only had this laptop a short time, I&#;m absolutely thrilled with it. The only way they could have made this better is if the case was metal but so far I haven&#;t had any issues or hint of issues like I endured with the old Lenovo.
If you can get this for under $ GET IT. You won&#;t be dissapointed.

How we test best gaming laptop brands of ?

Laptops for gamers have to meet different requirements than normal notebooks for work. That is why we have developed a completely new test procedure for these models and at the same time adjust the weighting of the individual rating categories to the requirements.

  • Performance category &#; 35% of the overall grade
We make by far the most important rating for gaming notebooks based on performance. We use current games such as Forza Horizon 4, Forza Motorsport 7, Far Cry 5, Grand Theft Auto 5, Total War: Warhammer 2 and Shadow of the Tomb Raider as well as two classics, Alien Isolation and DiRT. In addition, we run synthetic benchmarks such as CineBench R15, the new 3DMark and Unigine Superposition.
  • Display category &#; 25% of the overall grade
After the performance, the display quality is the second most important rating in our ranking. Since all of our test candidates have a display with Full HD resolution, the resolution does not play a role in the evaluation, and we can concentrate entirely on the measurable features of the display. These include values such as maximum brightness, color space coverage, contrast ratio and viewing angle stability.
  • Equipment category &#; 20% of the overall grade.
How big is the hard disk storage? How many USB ports does the test device have? And which chips are installed on the mainboard? The equipment is an important aspect of every notebook, even with gaming models. We record all relevant connections, modules, drives and special features that stand out in the test.
  • Ergonomics category &#; 15% of the overall grade
A lot of small things flow into the ergonomics rating. This includes, for example, the volume of the system under full load. But the quality of the keyboard and touchpad, the appearance and appearance of the device as well as the behavior of the display hinge also belong in this category.
  • Mobility category &#; 5% of the overall grade
As already mentioned, mobility only plays a subordinate role in our ranking. On the one hand, because the battery life in gaming mode is very short for all devices, and on the other hand, because they generally only develop their full performance when they are connected to the mains. In this rating category we go into the dimensions of the notebook, evaluate the weight and check the battery life.

Buy Gaming Notebooks: You should pay attention to:

There are a few points to consider when buying a gaming notebook. We have put together the most important ones for you:

  • Dedicated graphics card performance
A gaming notebook must meet many criteria. However, the performance of the dedicated graphics card is particularly important. The integrated graphics chips from Intel and AMD are becoming more and more powerful, but as soon as a video game is a bit more demanding in its presentation, you no longer want to do without a separate chip. Nvidia currently dominates the mobile market with its Geforce series and continues with the RTX series; AMD still doesn&#;t play a relevant role here. As on the desktop, Nvidia positions itself with various GPU variants that should meet different requirements. At the top of the mobile graphics chips, Nvidia positions the Geforce RTX &#; the Ti variant, which is available for desktop computers, was not implemented on the move. In our leaderboard, for example, we have the Dell Alienware m15, which runs with a Geforce RTX Max-Q and costs a whopping $3, In terms of performance, it sets a best value, but at the same time it cannot significantly differentiate itself from the Alienware 15 R4 with Geforce GTX Max-Q. This is surprising and disappointing because there are a few years of GPU development in between and we expected a clear difference. In short: You don&#;t need to upgrade from GTX to RTX to play in Full HD resolution.
  • RAM and hard disk volume
In addition to a strong graphics card, we recommend 16 GB of RAM, also because it is more future-proof. Most games can currently handle 8 GB of RAM &#; but not every notebook can be upgraded arbitrarily. We therefore advise you not to save at this point. An SSD (instead of or together with a conventional hard disk) is the mass storage of choice. Many games require long loading times to display the game world. A solid state disk provides a full boost here. Annoying reloading stutters are also seen much less frequently on an SSD. If you own a huge game library and want to save some money, you can, for example, install a larger HDD instead of a second SSD. However, you then have to expect occasional stutters.
  • Cooling system and ventilation
Aside from the power components, it is important that the notebook manufacturer install a good cooling system. This ensures stability during long-term gaming and prevents loud fan noises, which can sometimes be heard even when playing headphones and can disturb the users and people around them. The keyboard of the notebook is also interesting. Many players prefer mechanical keys because of their durability and the well-defined pressure point. The touchpad is less relevant; we assume that gamers will use a mouse either way.

  • Other factors to consider are the quality of the case, the dimensions and the weight. As a rule, gaming notebooks will be used at home at the desk because they are significantly more compact than full-fledged desktop computers &#; but if you consciously choose a laptop for gaming and refuse a potentially cheaper desktop PC, you might also have mobility in mind to have.

Gaming notebook or desktop variant &#; what is suitable for me?

If you are considering buying a gaming laptop, you should first think about why you want to do this. Because, as a rule, the mobile versions are always a lot more expensive than their desktop counterparts. Notebooks are also difficult to upgrade. The installation of a larger SSD or HDD is not a problem and you can also change the working memory on many models, but the processor or graphics card only has a new purchase after a few years.

For example, if you want to save space due to your living situation or you are on the road more often and would like to gamble for an hour in the hotel room in the evening, then it is worth buying a mobile gaming machine. Otherwise, the money you save by purchasing a desktop gaming variant can be better invested in purchasing a mouse, keyboard, or monitor.

You should also be aware that a 15 inch notebook is always a little cheaper than its 17 inch offshoot. However, the ventilation is often better with the larger versions, since there is simply more space available in the housing.

How much money do I have to spend?

Basically, you have to decide which games you prefer to play and how important the topic of graphic power is to you. The price range for gaming devices reflects our test very well. Devices can also be found under $1,, but then you have to reckon with the fact that you cannot admire triple-A games like Battlefield V, Borderlands 3 or Assassin&#;s Creed Odyssey in all their pixel splendor. The more graphics you want, the more money you have to invest.

In addition to the GPU, the CPU is of course another important component of a gaming laptop. Here you have to find a golden way between the two components of the graphics chipset and processor. For example, if you chose a combination of a Core i9 and an Nvidia GeForce GTX , the GPU would slow down this system &#; conversely, with a Nvidia GeForce RTX and a Core i5, the processor would become a bottleneck. However, in most cases, the GPUs are a bit throttled in clock frequency compared to their desktop variants in order to save electricity in this way.

It is also crucial whether the display of your laptop should resolve in Full HD or 4K. But the refresh rate also plays a role. If you want a Hz or Hz display that shows content even more smoothly, this also increases the costs.

What do I do with my games that I still have on CD or DVD?

Do you still have a few classics on an optical data medium such as CD or DVD and find that your chosen device no longer has a drive and therefore do not know how to install the games? This is not a problem at all, because various manufacturers offer external DVD or Blu-ray burners that you can connect to your notebook via a USB port.

Can I also upgrade a notebook with an external graphics card?

Do you own a current notebook with an internal graphics card solution, do not want to buy a gaming notebook but still play graphically complex games? If your notebook has a USB-C port with Thunderbolt 3 function, you can connect external graphics card housings to your laptop, which you can then equip with a graphics card of your choice.

1. Alienware Aurora R12

The best gaming PC money can buy

CPU: Up to Intel Core i9 (11th gens)

GPU: Up to RTX

RAM: Up to GB

Storage: Up to 2TB SSD + 2TB HDD

Reasons to buy

+Eye-catching design+Liquid-cooled GPUs available+10th-gen Intel CPUs

Reasons to avoid

-Can get expensive

Alienware's Aurora R12 is leading Alienware into the next generation of gaming; as well as 10th-gen Intel processors and the possibility of liquid-cooled graphics cards, it offers a variety of builds to suit most budgets. If you want to get into PC gaming for the first time or would like to upgrade your existing setup - perhaps in preparation for ray tracing games - this is the most cost-effective way to do it.

Ranging from affordable starter rigs to pimped-out super PCs, the Aurora R12 strikes a good balance of choice. Better still, these desktops can be easily opened and upgraded with different parts as and when you see fit. Want more RAM or a larger SSD? No problem. Because the power supply unit swings out on a metal arm, you get more room to fiddle with the PC's insides.

The R12's design is of a similar form for the last few years and is attractive enough - and unique if nothing else. Although it sticks with the distinctive case and scooped-out front of its predecessor, this update enriches that formula with new lighting around the central strip in some cases. It's an addition that turns heads and makes the design feel even more futuristic than it did before.

2. Alienware Aurora Ryzen R10

A quality and premium Ryzen-build

CPU: up to AMD Ryzen 9 X

Graphics: up to Nvidia RTX Ti

RAM: up to 64GB DDR4

Storage: up to 2TB M.2 SSD & 2TB HDD

Reasons to buy

+Will run any game at 60fps++Easy to take off the side panels+Alienware Command Centre is useful+Lots of component customisation before you buy

Reasons to avoid

-Curved, radiator-esque front is questionable-Need to remove PSU cage to access motherboard-Can get loud during intensive games

The Aurora Ryzen R10 series is a Ryzen-build entry into the Aurora series, all sporting third-gen AMD Ryzen processors rather than the usual Intel processors. The former have massively closed the gap on the latter in recent years and months, so it's no real surprise to see an Alienware PC range specifically offering that kind of CPU.

Focused around that Ryzen CPU, though, you can fully customize your Aurora R10 however you want, which means that whether you're a console gamer looking to break into PC gaming or a die-hard veteran who wants the ultimate build, you'll find it here. The Alienware brand name comes with the usual price premium that most Alienware products have, but if you can overcome that, and want the respective premium quality that also comes with the name, then the spaceship-inspired R10 design is for you, especially since the Alienware Command Center is a useful bit of kit packed in. The main downsides are that it can get somewhat loud, almost as if it is a spaceship engine trying to take off, and accessing the components within isn't an easy task thanks to the placement of the PSU cage. You can definitely do much worse when buying a pre-built PC though, and that Ryzen-Nvidia blend is a brilliant one that offers exquisite performance.

3. Dell G5 Gaming Desktop

Budget PC gaming at its best

CPU: 9th Gen Intel Core i3 series – i7 series

RAM: 8GB – 64GB

Storage: GB SSD - 1TB SSD and/or 1TB HDD

Reasons to buy

+Incredibly affordable+Compact form+Great entry-to-mid level builds+Reliable manufacturer

Reasons to avoid

-Base models are a bit light touch

Away from Dell's Alienware gaming nutters, the PC-maker's own brand G-series desktop PCs are underrated machines. They often provide a great budget or entry-level route into gaming PCs and are not an afterthought: they get updates as much as any of the other desktops or laptops available at Dell. The really entry-level ones won't do gang-busting numbers or levels of graphical fidelity but they'll be great PCs to have at home for work and play.

Now that the baseline is the 10th-generation of Intel chips this is another factor to work in their favor. Particularly as the baseline is the series of Nvidia cards which will handle anything just fine, and you can choose one well into the ray-tracing range including the Super. Their compact form is also a plus side, while Dell's aftercare - should you need it - is pretty good too. A value-busting quality entry in this list.

A stylish, great-value powerhouse from a top-notch manufacturer

CPU: Ryzen 5 X / 7 X / X

GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX to RTX

RAM: 8GB to 32GB DDR

Storage: Up to GB SSD + 2TB HDD

Reasons to buy

+Excellent value for money and bang-to-buck performance+Great design+Superb use of Ryzen and Nvidia components

Reasons to avoid

-Few, if any, Intel CPU options

This is a tremendous machine and one that really harnesses a great power to performance to price balance. It's a great new design from ASUS and is a welcome addition to the pre-built gaming PC market. I use this PC every day so I am a bit biased perhaps, I'd argue, it's well-placed bias! It's a joy to use as a work PC that seamlessly changes to a monster. The components of my build, particularly, demonstrate the GA15's successful inhabiting of a place of balance between performance and value. Inside is a X processor, a Super graphics card (itself probably the best bang for buck GPU in the ray-tracing category), 16GB of RAM, and a GB SSD + 2TB HDD combo. It's got a sweet design, plenty of ports, runs quiet, and has some RGB fun too on the front - with ASUS making so many great gaming laptops right now, it's no wonder they've come out with an excellent new desktop range.

Just for clarity and to reassure you if you're following links, you might see this machine listed as a G15DH or G15 - do not worry, it's the same one as the GA Your options of specs might also slightly differ depending on you're location: the above list is taken straight from ASUS itself in terms of what the machine can house, but I have seen some slightly different builds - including the odd Intel CPU build - crop up at some retailers. Regardless, this is still a PC build that is extremely easy to recommend and each variant will have that ASUS stamp of quality and pedigree within that you can have confidence in.

5. CyberpowerPC Gamer Xtreme

The best budget gaming PC right now

CPU: Intel Core i5 F

GPU: Nvidia GTX 6GB

Storage: 1TB HDD RPM + GB SSD

Reasons to buy

+Fantastic performance per dollar+Runs very cool out of the box

Reasons to avoid

-Limited SSD storage

This offers great bang for buck value. The Cyberpower Gamer Xtreme - housing an Intel Core i5 F and Nvidia's GTX - is a great PC to rock the current generation of games and do it all for well under the four-figure mark.

Even beyond that and branching into the increasingly large world of VR, this machine will get you there on a shoestring: it's VR-ready right out of the box (just) and will be easy to upgrade when newer, more fancy headsets become more available.

The Xtreme is also great for anyone looking for a PC to match the capabilities of current-gen consoles, something that will bridge the gap between the PS4 and Xbox One era of games and the next console generation. And the Gamer Xtreme is also modular and upgradeable enough to allow you to quickly adapt when specs for the next generation are finally, properly announced. On that note, we'd probably aim to get another 8GB of RAM into this upgrade-friendly rig as soon as you can, though.

6. Acer Predator Orion

A solid all-rounder with a solid price tag

CPU:: Intel Core i

GPU: : Nvidia GeForce RTX

Memory:: 16GB DDR4 HyperX Fury @ 2,MHz

Storage: : GB SSD (Boot) + 1TB HDD

Weight:: 9kg / lbs

Reasons to buy

+Fantastic p performance, 4K capable+Price is very reasonable+Easy to upgrade

Reasons to avoid

-Some elements are on the cheap side

At around the $1, / £1, mark, the Predator Orion might be one of the best-value gaming PCs on the market right now. The advent of the RTX series of GPUs means that kind of money gets you performance-for-value that wouldn’t have been possible even just a few years ago.

With a compact litre case and customisable RGB lighting, the Orion certainly looks pretty slick. Although the CPU is only equipped with a stock air cooler, this PC can handle graphically intensive games without overheating. p gaming is the sweet spot here, but you’ll find that it can run many games at 4K without much compromise in quality or framerate.

Plenty of storage and great connectivity back up the solid performance of the core components, and the tidy internals mean that upgrading most parts of this build shouldn’t be hard. While some parts of the case feel less than durable, it’s hard to deny that this is a quality gaming desktop for the asking price.

Note: Stock of this PC seems to be very unreliable as of now (July) - but keep checking back as our deal-finding tech will always scout out the best prices wherever you are for this machine.

7. Corsair One i

The best gaming PC for peak performance in a tiny form factor

CPU: Intel Core i9 K

GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX Ti

Storage: GB NVMe M.2 SSD, 2TB HDD

Reasons to buy

+Incredible performance+Tiny form and footprint

Reasons to avoid

-You’re going to need a bigger bank balance-No way for users to upgrade without going through Corsair

The Corsair One series is incredibly small and lightweight (at least considering how much power it's packing), and has an attractive form factor. As a step-up option from Corsair's flashier but more modestly outfitted Vengeance model, the Corsair has a few advantages that will primarily appeal to those looking for more workload capability and who are focused on gaming as a more secondary concern. The Corsair One is decidedly a workstation focused rig, though it certainly doesn't slouch in the gaming department either.

The One comes in a few flavors, but the best dollars-to-performance value is in the package around the $3, mark. It's built around an RTX Ti, and contains a GB SSD and a 2TB HDD. It also has the impressive iK intel processor which is still offers some mega gaming chops despite the new 10th gen CPUs now going. And also, in a nod to megatasking workload scenarios, it packs a lot of RAM, at 32GB of DDR It will manhandle modern games at 4K with ease, and it's also suitable for heavy rendering, CAD, or other workstation style applications.

It's sort of the ultimate gaming/workstation hybrid, though if you find your bank balance is absolutely bursting with discretionary income, first, call me, but second you might also want to consider the top option in the Corsair family. The ridiculous $5, option includes the wildly overpowered iX CPU, which Intel insists on describing (and probably rightly so) as the "best processor for gaming."
