  • The issue was fixed but I wasn't kept updated on the problem. The repair took much longer than quoted to complete. They were starting the repair when it should've been done. Also I left a call back number yet they called my dad instead of me, disturbing him at work and causing me to call on the status of my car. The service advisor seemed bothered by me and like he didn't have time to make sure my needs and concerns were met.

  • I went in the a truck yesterday and a nice truck not junk. They offered me just to buy it not a trade in. Well I told them give me over night to think on it. That was at 4:30 yesterday. Today at 11:00 they have MYSTERIOUSLY purchased 2 trucks exactly like mine so "I'd have to trade it in." Yeah whatever pull somebody else's leg. BAD BUSINESS.. I'd give no stars if I could.

  • Gray Daniels has had my truck since 5/6/21 for some me mechanical work and body work. The mechanical was done on 5/19/21 and as of today, 6/10 they had not even started on the body work. We were told the repairs would take about a week and told 2 weeks ago that it was going into the shop to be repaired.  I went up there today to complain and they said they'd get right on it. I was told that our truck, a big diesel truck with lift kit and big rims,  was mistake for a "service truck" and they never started on the work! Mind you we have been calling weekly about it and getting the run around, to find out today that the work was never started. It's seems that the original person was fired and they dropped the ball!  We were lied to on the phone. I went today to talk to the general manager, who was busy, but instead spoke to the sales manager.

    Hostile to customers and employees alike.
    They will not give you the best interest rate; they give you the rate from bank that allows them most backend product (regardless if it is 5 points higher) then but it 2.5 points; if you MUST buy there secure your own rate and private sell your trade-in on cargurus P2P classifieds; they offer financing to buyers. I've seen them scoop trades, embezzle, forgery, fraud,  and know the business manger hacks into he's wife's computer when she was with Santander. Corporate: CEO PRESIDENT DIRECTOR DAVID HULT allows a hostile work environment (causing Jim Thompson to take his own life after years of abuse) ; actually condones and promotes it; racism, discrimination, harassment, whistleblower violations. Nothing moral or ethical about this place.

  • After reading the comments IM SO GLAD nobody came out to help us!!! DAM! Spent 30 min roaming the trucks.... NOBODY came to ask us if we had questions or needed help. I made comment to hubby about it. He said to was odd also. And that we will NOT be returning. Hubby has done his research and he's looking to buy. #snoozeyouloose

    Since you strive to provide excellent service to your customers, why haven't you returned any of my calls or responded to my requests to speak with you? I've purchased two vehicles from your business. Today, when I was there to speak with you about concerns pertaining to quality of service, you reached over me to shake someone else's hand, and did not even acknowledge my presence. That was very disrespectful. You have been avoiding me me 8 days now. All I wanted was a simple call to discuss my experience with you. However, you are also dishonest in telling you staff to say that you were not on the premises. I guess some customers are better than others. This is one of the top 2 worst experiences I've ever had dealing with a so called professional business.

    I have purchased two vehicles from this place. However, I've learned that Gray Daniels does not value actual customers. They only value those who show interest in purchasing a vehicle. It has now been 6 days since I visited the dealership to speak with the General Manager regarding my terrible experience with the Service Department. I have yet to receive a response and my vehicle is still in the dealerships possession. I have gone 7 days without my vehicle, a courtesy vehicle, or an email or phone call. I expected a much higher level of service from Gray Daniels Chevrolet and especially GM, and I am quite disappointed. Because I do not want to spend any more time on this problem or any future problems at Gray Daniels I will no longer do business there after this is finally resolved. I'd rather spend my hard-earned money with a company who truly values their customers.

  • My humble advice is to stay clear of the dealership.  I was basically robbed.  I was excited to possibly trade my Silverado in for a new Impala.  

    While test driving the car for a few days, my truck was taken to detail, cleaned from front to back, new Gray Daniels tags and stickers placed on the truck and my belongings were "thrown away" and when I asked my salesman what happened.... he informs me that he is not sure how my keys got from his desk into the detail department.

    He apologized and states that I need to get a detailed list of my trucks contents and the dealership would reimburse me.  I did just that, and a week and a half passes and the sales manager FINALLY contacts me and informs me that "I'm not going to like what he has to say"

    Gray Daniels says they are not responsible for a vehicles contents  while  on their property.

    So Apparently they have the right to get my keys from my salesmans desk, clean any and everything from my vehicle and "Trash" my items. Without a contract of sale!

    For 2 weeks I attempted to contact with Sr. management via Voicemail, email and stopping by........ Nothing!!!!

    I advise anyone to just stay away!!  It just cost me $1200 to look at a car.  Not to mention, I've had to close my bank account because my checking information was in the vehicle.

    Very Disappointed!!!

  • I took my car to them Wednesday because it was sounding strange when I got to red lights. I called them back yesterday to see what they discovered. Come to find out it was the cam cover. The same cam cover that I had fixed at Gray Daniels last year (not to mention they kept my car for three days)! The guy even told me that it shouldn't be going out that fast. Duh! Last year it was still under the power train warranty. It's not covered anymore. And because GM covered it under their warranty I was told Gray Daniels doesn't warranty their work that they did on it. Pissed is an understatement!! I paid the diagnostic fee and took my car to Midas in Ridgeland! My car was fixed and ready to go in a few hours and it was half the price. I'll never return to Gray Daniels for anything!

  • On October 20, 2017 I brought my vehicle in for a broken dip stick tube and to replace a hitch plug. They did a diagnostic check which I didn't ask for. Spent 7 and a half hours waiting for them to repair a transmission dip stick tube, and repair hitch plug. I also needed a quote on four tires which took my service advisor Bob 5 hours. Got an estimate for over $2,300.00 in alleged work that needed to be done to include the tires. There was also a recall on the vehicle. After misinforming me that they didn't have the parts to fix the recall. The parts miraculously appeared. The Manager seems to be disconnected and is not managing this service center. Not concerned about his customers, and oblivious to what is going on in the service center. My service advisor sat at his station form 8:00 am until his lunch break at approximately 1:00 pm. Came back and sat right back down at his station until 3:00 pm. Waste of my time!! Would not recommend anyone bring their vehicle here unless you have a couple of days to sit in the waiting area so they can tell you they don't have any of the parts needed, and present you with an outrageous estimate on work you didn't even ask to have done.

  • Well, let me preface this by saying that most of the people at the dealership seemed to be friendly and tried to be helpful, but their execution and organization could definitely use a lot of help.

    I started by filling out a request for information form online to get someone to call me about a used vehicle on the lot (Just an FYI, do not ever do this unless you want a barrage of emails, marketing phone calls from some 3rd party firm and tons of other spam). Over half a day a later I get a call, seemed friendly enough and asked when I could come by. I showed up exactly when I said I would and when I got there, they attempted to sell me a vehicle that was not what I requested info for, maybe an honest mistake, told them I was not interested in that one, and they sought out the one I actually contacted them about.

    They did find the vehicle, but had no idea where the keys were, 1.5 hours later of sitting around waiting, I had to leave.

    They called me the next day to make me an offer on my trade and the deal sounded fair, but I needed to drive the vehicle first. When I got there, the sales person I was dealing with was not there, they had sold that vehicle and then attempted once again to sell me the same one I was not interested in...

    needless to say I took my business elsewhere, found a vehicle I wanted, got in and out of the other dealership with a deal in less time than I wasted on Gray-Daniels Chevrolet. My opinion, don't waste your time here like I did.

Darian Pearson is the most unprofessional and rude General Manager I’ve ever experienced. My nephew purchased a vehicle there and 2 days later the transmission went out. This was confirmed by Gray Daniels service dept. Surely the inspection was not done prior to putting the car up for retail. The loan company informed me the loan can be refunded, but Darien informed me he will not. As of today, no one has contacted him regarding the status of the car. They alleged the the service manager was in contact with the extended warranty company and will contact us Monday. To date, no one has contacted us. We left the vehicle there. This dealership has taken no ownership for selling a vehicle with a bad transmission and has not provided any level of professionalism. Darian actually advised me to get an attorney. Mark McLarty, you need to hire a more professional GMs and staff that does not lie to the customers. We are fully aware the dealership brushed my nephew off until this loan was funded. PLEASE BEWARE OF GRAY DANIELS DEALERSHIP! Located on I-55 in Jackson, MS. This place does not deserve a rating. THE MANAGEMENT TEAM IS AWFUL!!!

We hebben daarvoor een unieke tool: een databank met meer dan 25 miljard historische meldingen uit het leven van gebruikte auto's. 3 miljard daarvan komen uit Europa. En deze databank groeit dagelijks. Zelfs als de gebruikte auto uit een land komt waarvan we geen informatie hebben, is een kentekencheck de moeite waard. Wie weet, misschien blijkt die kleine Italiaan wel grotendeels uit Oost-Europa te komen.

Maar begrijp ons niet verkeerd. We doen ons uiterste best om de complete achtergrond van een voertuig door te lichten, maar de achtergrond van de vorige eigenaren houden we er buiten. De meldingen in onze databank hebben op geen enkele wijze betrekking op personen. We richten ons uitsluitend op de gebruikte auto en zijn kilometerstand, mogelijke verdekte ongevallen, waar de auto vandaan komt en nog véél meer. Soms vinden we ook niks. En dat is alleen maar mooi, toch?

Waarom is uitgerekend vóór de aankoop de voertuighistorie zo belangrijk? Het is een feit dat er meer gebruikte auto's dan nieuwe auto's worden verkocht. Deze vorm van hergebruik kunnen we natuurlijk alleen maar anmoedigen. Maar daardoor ontstaan natuurlijk ook in de markt gangbare methoden en tactieken om schadewagens in goud om te toveren, de kilometerstand te manipuleren of andere dingen zoals de herkomst of zelfs diefstal te maskeren. Het zijn allemaal onvermijdelijke nadelen van een vrije markt in occasions. Wij vinden, dat je nieuwe tweedehands auto je juist een gevoel van zekerheid zou moeten geven. Daarom is ons doel, dat jij je bij het kopen van je auto goed voelt en dat je niet het gevoel krijgt, dat je teveel voor je nieuwe levensgezel hebt betaald.

Toch willen wij vooral dat je niet onbewust aan het stuur van een risicowagen komt te zitten. Wij helpen dagelijks om dit soort wagens letterlijk uit de roulatie te halen. Zo maken we niet alleen de markt van tweedehands auto's, maar uiteindelijk ook onze straten veiliger.

CARFAX - MEER DAN 35 JAAR ERVARING MET KENTEKENCHECKS

CARFAX is in 1984 in de Verenigde Staten opgericht en maakte in 2007 de stap naar Europa. Momenteel werken 100 medewerkers bij zes Europese filialen om meldingen uit het leven van tweedehands auto's uit meer dan 20 landen te verwerken.

Door langdurige samenwerkingen met toezichthouders, handhaving, ministeries, verzekeringsmaatschappijen, taxateurs, automotive partijen en andere toonaangevende organisaties zijn wij in staat om een unieke internationale databank voor tweedehands auto's op te bouwen. Met meer dan 25 miljard meldingen is deze tot nu toe de grootste databank van voertuighistorie wereldwijd. En elke dag komen er meer meldingen bij. We gebruiken deze databank als basis voor een aantal slimme voertuighistorie-applicaties, zoals bijvoorbeeld ons uitgebreide voertuighistorierapport. Zo maken wij de occasion-markt transparanter.

Ondanks deze nauwe samenwerking met instanties en bedrijven zijn wij neutraal en onafhankelijk. Want uiteindelijk is ons doel, onze klanten zoveel mogelijk voorlichting en veiligheid te bieden. Daarbij gebruiken we overigens geen persoonsgerelateerde informatie en houden we altijd rekening met de wet op de gegevensbescherming. Verder gebruiken we de informatie altijd met het oog op juridische randvoorwaarden - en dat doen we in alle landen waar we actief zijn. Van illegale activiteiten als bijvoorbeeld datadiefstal, scraping of hacking distantiëren we ons nadrukkelijk.
