Amazon account health team has the potential to be one of the most diverse and enjoyable experiences and your Amazon career. Just a few caveat you must understand about the department and the way things work. The managers make a strong effort to be inclusive to most specialty groups (LGTBQ, Women, elderly, Hispanic)groups. But one specific group has been constantly Passed over for promotions and special type of projects that would lead to aforementioned promotions. And I personally heard several people be told by management oh I forgot that you worked for the company in their meeting to talk about promotions. Amazon warehouse positions and managers are leaps and bounds better than the corporate offices when were talking about equality across the board inclusiveness across-the-board and everybody's work being the main factor that gives you a leg up on promotions and advancement.

You will also need to be self-motivated to get on phone calls with advertisers to explain the optimization recommendations and the paths to resolution. The ideal candidate is someone having strong commitment to the success of our advertising customers and having a proven track record of exceeding goals.


Core responsibilities include:
· Taking complete ownership for a portfolio of accounts – Standard and High Value advertisers
· Flexible to work in rotational shifts and make proactive outbound calls to generate leads
· Establish strong relationship and trust with local and global stakeholders
· Leading kickoff calls with advertisers and driving discussion using a preset agenda, as and when necessary

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications Include:
· Bachelor's degree in a business discipline
· 2-4 years of work experience in sales/marketing
· Have managed global clients along with owning up their individual performance goals
· Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin
· N3 and above Japanese verbal and written communication skills as demonstrated by experience
· Advanced computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Office applications – Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint
· Ability to think strategically and creatively while executing methodically with high attention to details, operational excellence, and ability of multi-tasking
· Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional and international environment, to lead by influence and earn trust at all levels

Advertiser Success Team (AST) supports Amazon’s worldwide advertisers in meeting their advertising goals, by providing strategic support across all advertiser lifecycles. AST has 3 functions, namely (i) Onboarding: providing educational support and onboarding new advertisers on the ad platform, (ii) Pre-EAS: providing optimization and account management support to tenured advertisers who don't have an in-country Account manager & (iii) Managed Optimization: providing optimization and account management support to tenured and high value advertisers who have an in-country Account Manager.

DAY TO DAY:

As an Account Specialist you will work with a portfolio of advertiser accounts and be responsible in helping them meet their advertising goals via opportunity identification, account optimization or creating new sponsored ads campaigns. Additionally, an Account Specialist also gets the opportunity to test internal tools, gathering & sharing insights with the internal product and engineering teams.

Working with new advertisers, you will be responsible to enable them identify the advertising business opportunities, review their product listings, create advertising campaigns, and help them adopt high value actions on their account to influence their success in advertising.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Become an expert on Amazon solutions and adapt recommendations based on advertiser needs
· Optimize end-to-end ad campaign performance that fulfills advertiser goals
· Monitor and communicate campaign progress through regular, in-depth activity reports and data insights, using this knowledge as a basis for future campaigns
· Work cross-functionally with stakeholders such as Sales & Marketing, Product Development teams, and other Amazon partners to solve issues blocking advertiser performance, to improve advertiser experience and deliver towards business goals
· Adheres to standard work instructions (SOPs) primarily with a possibility of a tailored approach based on the advertiser’s preference and your expertise
· Provide education to Advertisers on Amazon Advertising products via 1:1 programs and online trainings
· Provide Onboarding support along with setting up campaigns for new and existing Advertisers
